Community Guidelines

Welcome to Social Spark!
We’re thrilled to have you on board as we work towards making vibrant community the norm for recent grads. Here are some community guidelines to keep in mind as you participate in our events:

Embrace Kindness

Show respect and courtesy as you meet new people in the genuine spirit of forming connections. Any form of harassment, discrimination, dishonesty, or harmful behavior towards others is not tolerated. Such actions may result in removal from the event and future participation in all Social Spark activities.

Exercise Caution

We like to incorporate fun activities, which may sometimes include physical elements. Please be mindful of your safety and the safety of others. While we do our best to ensure a safe environment, participants are responsible for exercising caution to avoid injury.

No Guarantees

Our goal is for you to make authentic connections and enjoy the real-life experience, but we can't guarantee success in forming friendships, compatibility with groups, or satisfaction with every activity. There’s something beautiful about meeting strangers and not knowing who you'll connect with—it’s part of the magic! However, it also means you might not meet someone at your first event. We encourage everyone to come with an open mind and engage with the entire group, appreciating the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives.

Integrity and Honesty

We expect all members to act with integrity and honesty in their interactions, including financial matters and respect for our policies. Misrepresentations,  dishonesty, or undermining the trust of the community, may result in immediate removal from Social Spark events and services.

Respect for Privacy

When attending our events, please be respectful of others' privacy. Do not share personal information, photos, or details about other members outside of the group without their consent. We want to create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves.

Respect for Property

Please treat any venue, property, or equipment used during our events with care and respect. Any damages caused by reckless behavior may result in removal from future events, and in some cases, you may be held responsible for repair or replacement costs.

Active Participation

Social Spark events work best when everyone actively participates. While we understand that people have different levels of comfort, we encourage you to be engaged and open to conversations, activities, and connections. If you repeatedly register for events but fail to show up or actively participate, we may reconsider your inclusion in future events to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.

Conflict Resolution

Disagreements can happen, but it's important to handle them respectfully. If a conflict arises during an event, we encourage participants to resolve it peacefully and directly with the other party. If a resolution cannot be reached, please notify us, and we will step in as needed. However, repeated disruptive or combative behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal.

Zero Tolerance for Illegal Activity

Engaging in illegal activities during or related to Social Spark events is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to the use of illegal substances, theft, or violence. Any violations of this policy will result in immediate removal from our community.

Right to Remove Members

Social Spark reserves the right to remove any member at any time for behavior that goes against our community values, guidelines, or policies. This includes actions that undermine the integrity, safety, or inclusiveness of our community.

Let’s create a welcoming and supportive community where everyone can thrive authentically. Enjoy the events, make new connections, and have a fantastic time exploring opportunities together in the real world!
